Here we go, our biggest day of the year - Record Store Day is back Saturday 18th April and it's going to be massive! 🥳

Stax is open as usual from 6.30am, so if you're not here for the records you can get your coffee and bagels as normal 🥯

If you ARE here for the vinyl we're shouting the first ten people in the record store line a free coffee ☕️ We'll be running orders out to people in the line too so you'll be able to order and go back to your spot and we'll bring the caffeine to you!

The BBQ is on from 9am so you can snag a sausage sizzle for lunch after you've got your vinyls or while you wait for the secondhand drop 🌭

Midland Records will be absolutely cranking this weekend! Doors open at 9am for exclusive RSD titles, the secondhand vinyl drops at 11am, live music from 11am, plus there'll be discounts, giveaways and Midland Records merch 🛍

Come down and support small business and your local independent record store. It's going to be a great day and we can't wait to see you all there 🥰

Tomorrow we will be closing early for the team to attend the funeral of our beautiful Leona 🌻

Leona had been part of the Stax family from the age of fifteen and we were so privileged to watch her grow into the most kind-hearted, strong, stubborn, loving person over the past three years. She was taken far too soon - we know she would've made such an impact on this world like she already had on those that knew and loved her 💛

We would like to say a massive thank you to all our beautiful regulars who have been so understanding and given us so much love, hugs and support over the past couple of weeks. We appreciate it more than you'll ever know!

Look it's not the prettiest to photograph but it tastes bloody good! 😋
Our new Vegemite Bagel is packed with swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, vegemite and avocado. It's salty and sharp, balanced out with the creaminess from the avocado, it doesn't get any better than this 👌

We need someone for Thursdays and Fridays but we can also offer shifts on Mondays and Saturdays too if you need.
