Pala5 is now Box of Goodness. 🤍

This feels a little emotional for us to share.

We opened Pala in October 2022, and as we enter our fifth year, we’ve been thinking a lot about how far we’ve come and where we want to go next.

Pala has been our home. It’s where we’ve learned, cooked, made mistakes, met so many wonderful people and slowly figured out the kind of food and experience we want to create.

So many of you have been part of that. You’ve celebrated with us, brought your families and friends, ordered your favourites again and again, given us honest feedback and supported us along the way.

Now it’s time for our next chapter.

From this Saturday, Pala5 becomes Box of Goodness.

The name is changing, and you’ll start seeing changes to our menu too. But the things that matter to us aren’t changing.

It’s still us. It’s still our team. It’s still the same place.

And regulars, don’t worry. Your Coffee, Ube Latte, Ube Waffles, Rice Bowls and plenty of your other favourites are coming with us. Breakfast isn’t disappearing either. 🤍

What we are doing is simplifying our menu and making it easier to choose, while keeping the things that make us, us.

Filipino flavour will always be part of our roots too.

This Saturday is our soft launch, so not everything will look finished yet. Our new look is still coming, and we’ll keep listening, learning and improving as we go.

To everyone who has been part of the Pala team over the years, including those who have since moved on, thank you. You’ve all played a part in getting us here. 🤍

And to everyone who has supported Pala over these last four years, thank you. Truly.

We hope you’ll be part of what comes next.

What a beautiful day of community, generosity, and hope.

Thank you to everyone who visited Pala, shared a coffee, enjoyed a meal, donated, and helped support families affected by the earthquake in Glan, Sarangani, Philippines.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of God’s work and to see people come together for something bigger than ourselves.
