Over the years we've been lucky to welcome people from all walks of life through our doors. Last year the WA Premier popped in for a toastie, and this week we were incredibly surprised and honoured to hear The Lonely Cafe mentioned in the Australian House of Representatives this week.

Most importantly, thank you to our customers, staff and community who have supported us throughout our journey.

Dear Customers. Our trading hours are changing for end of year. This week Perry and I are off to Barrow Island Thur 11th & Fri 12th, being rockstars once again with our band EnQue Band Perth, entertaining the Chevron troops.
Usually we close the cafe, but this year....our new young enthusiastic team have told us they can hold down the cafe whilst we are away.
So on that note; the cafe will be open from 7am to 12pm Thur 11th, Fri 12th. Please be patient and kind to our team. This will be their first time running without us.
We are back Sat 13th 7am to 12pm, and we will also be opening Sunday 14th 7am to 12pm.
Monday 15th - 6am to 2pm
Tuesday 16th - 6am to 12pm
Wed 17th Dec - Tues 6th Jan CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS
Cafe reopens Wed 7th Jan 2026 - normal hours 6am to 2pm.
If we don't see you before we close up shop for Christmas; have a blessed and restful break, with family and friends. And we look forward to seeing you all in 2026.

Well our little cafe finally outgrew the two of us, and it's the first year we had enough staff to justify our first ever staff Xmas party!!
Thankyou, Noah Sebo Sahrye Nuku Milly Pachota, Neil Gerace, Kennedy Tai and our little granddaughter Aura (she says she's the OG, as she was employee number #1 lol), for helping us through the cafes growth spurt. Appreciate your hard work and dedication to us, the cafe and most importantly, our customers!

Dear customers. With space always being a challenge for our little cafe, and being unable to provide cosy indoor seating through the horrid winter rains; we have made the decision to temporarily CLOSE on SATURDAYS.
This will change as soon as the season and weather permits.
Apologise to our regular Saturday friends and customers.

3 and half years ago, these 2 beautiful souls were the very very first 2 customers to turn up for our Grand Opening. It was lovely to see you both Edwina Thomson-Lawrence and Kim walk through our doors to see all the changes the cafe has morphed through. You are both Always welcome.

Hi everyone! It's WA Day Monday 2nd June, and we will be getting in some relaxation for one of the last long weekends of the year. Closed Saturday 31st May, Sun 1st June and WA Day Monday 2nd June.
Back into the fray Tuesday 3rd June 6am.
