We are excited and very proud to be included once again in the Gourmet Traveller Top 100 restaurants in Australia.
17 years ago as a 1st year apprentice I contacted the top 10 restaurants in the Gourmet Traveller Top 100 looking for an opportunity to move from WA to continue my training. I was lucky enough to get a job in Sydney which is where I stayed for many years learning from many amazing chefs. So now to be back in WA and have Oscar's alongside my amazing parents and be included two years running in this list means a great deal to me. Thank you to our whole team for your dedication and passion, and to all of our amazing customers for your support.

Since WA Today kindly included Oscars as a good excuse for a day trip in their recent article "The 12 restaurants that define eating out in Perth", article link below.
We thought we would share our ideal day trip to the Swan Valley and highlight some of the other amazing venues around us.
To help with your day trip planning, see below our carefully curated itinerary out to the Swan Valley.
Start the morning with some of WA's finest honey at the House of Honey, followed by an unqiue undergorund cellar wine tasting at John Kosovich Wines.
Dine with Oscar's in the Valley for a long lunch, tasting some of WA's best seasonal produce before stopping off at the Baskerville tavern for a refreshing ale in their beer garden. Then, visit Harvey Cheese on the way home to create your own cheeseboard to finish the evening.

What people say
Oscar's at Guildford Landing is a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking to indulge in Western Australia's finest produce, beers, and wines. The restaurant is fully licensed and offers a warm and cosy atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot for any occasion.
The menu at Oscar's is simply divine, with dishes like perfectly seared local market fish served with corn, dill, and zucchini being a favourite among patrons. The shark bay bugs, pumpkin, and turnip dish from their seasonal menu are also worth trying out.
The restaurant is open for dinner from Thursday to Sunday and lunch on weekends. They have both indoor fireplaces and outdoor heating available to keep you warm during the colder months.
Oscar's at Guildford Landing is also family-run, just like Frankland Estate Winery - whose organic Pinot Noir they serve - which makes it even more special. So if you're looking for a place to celebrate the beauty of Western Australia while enjoying delicious food and wine, Oscar's at Guildford Landing should be your go-to destination!
