Hey everyone, I wanted to update you on our food truck's recent trading situation at Riverside Gardens. Unfortunately, we've had to take a break from trading there due to some incidents that have made us and our staff feel uncomfortable.
Over the past few weeks, we've experienced multiple instances of people coming up to us or our staff and unleashing anger and frustration. This has ranged from issues with parking and phone calls to threats of legal action. Despite trying to have sensible discussions with these individuals, it seems that many of them are using us as a proxy in their frustrations with the council.
Adding to the situation, the turnover of customers has dropped significantly since school started and the cafe by the water, The Parkhouse, is now attracting more business with their tables by the water. Due to all of these factors, we have decided to move our food truck back to Lake Monger for the time being to give everyone a bit of a rest from the politics and wasted energy.
During the time we were not trading at Riverside, we offered our spot to the Vietnamese food truck and let them use our power if they needed it. We have a great relationship with them and always keep in touch about our trading schedules.
We appreciate all of your support and wanted to update you on the situation. We'll be back at Riverside Gardens next week with an updated weekly roster. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing you soon!

🎉 Hey Bayswater community! 🎉
We are so grateful to be a part of this amazing community and have the opportunity to trade at Riverside Gardens. 🙏 We have received a lot of support from our neighbors and are committed to working hard to make the area an even better place to live and visit. 💪
We know that parking and congestion can be issues at the park, so we have taken the initiative to address these challenges by reserving spots for the Vietnamese food truck and suggesting that the council review the policy for food truck operations to allow more space and signage for food trucks on the designated parking spots. 🚚
Unfortunately, we have also experienced some incidents of aggression and threats at the park, which is very concerning. We believe that the council should take steps to address these issues and create a safer environment for all park users. 💙 Together, we can find solutions to these problems and make Riverside Gardens a place where everyone feels safe and welcome. 🏡
Don't forget, we are open 7 days a week from 7am to 5/6pmish serving up delicious food and drinks! 😋 We can't wait to see you at the park! 🤗

Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone within the Bayswater Riverside community who supported us and signed the petition (400 signatures 🎉🎉) for Peter's Cà Phê to use the power. ❤️❤️
However unfortunately we have been unsuccessful. We had to put an EOI through ( along with the signatures).
❤️🐶Don’t worry, we will still be down there as usual supporting the community and doing special activities such as Santa paws and the Easter treasure hunt with Chofies treats! 🐶❤️

To get to Milne Street in Perth, you can take public transport by boarding a train to the Canning Bridge Station and then walking for about 10 minutes. If driving, head towards Kwinana Freeway from Perth CBD and exit at Canning Highway. You can park your car along Milne Street where there are ample parking spaces available.
