🇬🇹 Grown in the volcanic highlands of Santa Rosa at 1600 - 1850 meters above sea level, this lot was grown in rich clay loam soils. The combination of altitude, climate, and fertile land delivers a cup with clarity, and vibrant acidity. Everything you’d expect from one of Guatemala’s most celebrated coffee regions.

✨ This lot has been fermented as whole cherry in an oxygen-limited environment, pushing the boundaries of traditional Guatemalan processing. The result? A bold, expressive cup with a complex, slightly boozy profile, layered with notes of French Earl Grey, White Grape, and Star Anise, balanced acidity, a smooth body, and a lingering sweetness.

🚜 Finca El Durazno is part of a collective of 20 dedicated producers, led by the Castillo family - coffee growers with a legacy dating back to 1893. Now under the leadership of Emanuel Castillo, the group operates through the Cosechando Esperanza (Harvesting Hope) program, supporting smallholder farmers with sustainable practices, education, and long-term resilience.
