🌶️🔥 HOW TO MAKE AN ADDICTIVE CHILLI OIL AT HOME ?
One spoonful… and your meal wakes right up! 🔥🌶️
Love a little heat with your food? This homemade chilli oil brings the garlic, the spice and a big hit of flavour to the table 😋
Drizzle it over noodles, dumplings, soup, fried rice or stir-fries — or use it as a dipping sauce. Honestly, once the jar’s open, you’ll want to put it on everything! 🤤
Want to make a batch at home? Here’s how:
🛒 You’ll need
• 1 cup peanut oil or another neutral-flavoured oil
• ½ cup fresh Vietnamese chilli
• 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
• 1 tsp garlic oil
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ tsp Wow… Woww seasoning — available at Surfing Lizard
👩🏻🍳 Here’s what to do
1️⃣ Warm the oil over low to medium heat.
2️⃣ Add the garlic and fry for 1–2 minutes.
3️⃣ Stir in the chilli, salt and Wow… Woww seasoning. Cook gently for another 1–2 minutes, until the garlic is lightly golden.
4️⃣ Stir in the garlic oil, turn off the heat and let it cool completely.
5️⃣ Spoon into a clean, airtight jar — then get ready to add a little kick to your next meal! 🌶️
