A very cute Mickey Mouse and the Roadster Racers cake today for Ari’s 4th Birthday! A chocolate mud and with layers of white chocolate ganache, decorated then topped with one of the birthday boy’s much loved toys! Hoping you had a fabulous party this afternoon Ari!!

Sharing this photo with a touch of sadness… I created this cake several years ago now for a friend, however sadly we farewelled her last week after she passed away. Sleep peacefully lovely Julia, and hoping that the cakes are plentiful in heaven. xx

It’s been another busy week in the kitchen with this Eagles/AFL/Fishing inspired 18th cake…. A dark chocolate ganache layered mud cake to add to Calan’s milestone birthday with fondant decorations. Hoping it was a fabulous weekend, even if WCE didn’t have a win today!

This week, a rustic farmhouse creation was brought to life - a white chocolate mud cake with butterscotch and salted caramel ganache layers, crafted entirely from cake and fondant. Here's to a fabulous 50th birthday, Chris, I hope you had a wonderful party!

Another all time favorite!! The colours, the combination of handmade sugar flowers, dried flowers, and the fact it was a Highland Cow….I loved creating this one!! Inside a vanilla mud cake with caramel swirled through layers of butterscotch ganache, then covered in dark chocolate fondant and dusted with Italian cocoa. Happy 21st Birthday Mackenzie, I hope you had a fabulous celebration! With special thanks to the lovely Jo at The Flower Club for the beautiful dried flowers which proved the perfect finishing touch!

Continuing on from yesterday’s post and whilst we’re talking Dungeons & Dragons, here’s another D&D cake that I made earlier this year for my Godson! A rustic fondant stone finished two tier Tower cake, topped with a hand-crafted fondant Mimic!
