She’s getting a lil’ glow up! 💅👑
There’s some work happening around our bar, but don’t worry - our iconic marble tops are being VERY carefully looked after! Originally part of Boans Department Store’s grand staircase, they were salvaged when the building was demolished in 1986. It later found a new home at The Queens when Matilda Bay Brewing Company incorporated it into the bar design.
A little piece of Perth history that’ll be back in its rightful place once the works are done. Until then, it’s business as usual at The Queens - come have a stickybeak with a vino! 👀🍷

To get to the location on Beaufort Street in Highgate, there are a few options for both public transport and driving.
For those taking public transport, you can take the train and get off at Perth Station then transfer to bus number 19 which will take you directly to Beaufort Street. Alternatively, you can take bus numbers 43 and 48 which also stop at Beaufort Street.
If driving, the closest major road is the Mitchell Freeway (State Route 2). Take the freeway north and exit at Vincent Street towards North Perth. Follow Vincent Street until it intersects with Beaufort Street, then turn left onto Beaufort Street. There is limited street parking available in this area but paid parking lots nearby.
Once you arrive near the destination, there are various landmarks like parks or shops that can help identify the specific pub.
