7 and a bit years and done. What a ride!
We’ve been up, down, through a pandemic and out the other side. It is however time for the next chapter. Donnie’s (formerly Donnie Taco) will finish up on October 17.
We’ve slung thousands of tacos, brewed a copious amount of caffeine, seen a million air balls, copped thousands in parking fines but above all else met some awesome people we now consider good friends.
To our staff, past and present, you’ve been friends above everything else. We love you and wish you all the best.
A massive thanks to our regulars over the journey. The smiles, the banter have made it all the sweeter.
A special mention to Tom at for his unbelievable support over the journey.
We wish Ashley and Liya from Cafe L.A the very best with the venue.
Our last day will be Friday 17th October. We will be around for a couple of weeks after that to help team Cafe L.A settle in.

Donnie Taco is a café located on Kings Park Road in Perth that offers a unique combination of coffee, tacos, and basketball. The café has been around since March 2017 and has become a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Donnie Taco recently made some small price changes due to regular increases in the costs of goods, packaging, milks, and wages but assures customers that they have not reduced the quality of their goods. The café also celebrated its fifth birthday with daily specials such as free Hedgehog and Nutella Almond slice with your cuppa on Monday, El Jamon + small coffee for $10 on Tuesday, new taco Banh Mi Fusion on Wednesday, 3 tacos for $18 all day on Thursday, and $6 schooners + house wine from 1 to 4 pm on Friday. Donnie Taco's menu includes delicious options like loaded nachos and Coupla Reubens with smokey meaty mushys with slaw, sauerkraut, and pickle.
