Hi everyone, Dôme Fremantle will be temporarily closed from Sunday the 23rd of January. Our last day of trade will be Saturday the 22nd January.
No need to worry though - our Fremantle team is moving nearby to Dôme East Fremantle - so you’ll still be able to go there to see a friendly face, grab your coffee and get your Dôme fix.
We hope to see you there!

Stay safe everyone, see you soon
Here we go again. From tomorrow morning, Dôme cafés in the Perth metro and Peel regions specifically will now be closing for the 3-day mandatory Covid-19 lock-down as directed this afternoon by the Western Australian Government. All our cafés in the other regions of WA will remain open as usual in this period. As he did last time, our Premier today made clear to people that residents of Perth and Peel should only leave home during this period to shop for essentials like groceries, medicine and necessary supplies or to do personal exercise for an hour a day. So once again we’re going to play our part to keep Western Australia safe. The more we limit community contact, the better the chance we have of getting our lives back next week. So, whilst we’ll miss seeing many of you for a few days, we’ll be in our cafés bright and early next Tuesday morning getting ready to welcome you all back in. Stay safe everyone. Love from all of us at Dôme

Following the Government’s announcement today, all Dôme cafés will be re-opening for trade from 6am tomorrow. For those visiting our cafés in the Perth and Peel regions, a few things are going to be a little different for the next week. The first is that you will be required to wear a mask whether you’re picking up a takeaway, coming in to eat or just hanging out for a while. Just know that you are allowed to remove your mask for eating and drinking whilst at your table but just pop it on again when you’re done or if you are wandering around the café and when ordering at the till. You can still have a good chat with one another with a mask on and as the saying goes, those with the best smiles always do it with their eyes anyway. The second change is that we will have some capacity restrictions. However because most Dôme cafés are large and spacious there is plenty of room to spread out and make a space of your own. We won’t be moving furniture around or removing it from our cafés during this time of extra restrictions as we want the place to look just like how you remembered it!. However, during peak periods you will find our team monitoring patron numbers to make sure that we don’t go past the limits that have been put in place for each café. If we do reach those limits we might ask you wait a few minutes outside until we free up some space or you might consider a take-away. Please be patient with us as we’ll only be working hard to keep people safe and our cafés compliant. Lastly, at all Dôme cafes you now need to register your contact with us for all visits whether take-away or spending time in our dining rooms. We’d love as many people as possible to use the SafeWA App but if you don’t have that to hand we’ll be able to give you a manual registration slip at the till. Most of all, please don’t feel shy about resuming your usual routine with us next week whether you need some quiet time alone or meeting up with others – we’ve missed you and we can’t wait to see you again….masks n’ all. Xx

It feels a little deja-vu but all of your favourite Dôme cafés in the Perth metro, Peel and South-west regions specifically will now be closing for the 5-day mandatory Covid-19 lock-down as directed this afternoon by the Western Australian Government. All our cafés in the other regions of WA will remain open as usual next week. With our Premier today making clear to people that residents of the lock-down regions should only leave home during this period to shop for essentials like groceries, medicine and necessary supplies or to do personal exercise, we’ve decided once again to play our part to keep Western Australia safe. The more we limit community contact the better the chance we have of putting this beast back in the bottle. So whilst we’ll miss seeing many of you for a few days, we’ll be in our cafés bright and early next Saturday morning getting ready to welcome you all back in. Stay safe everyone. Love from all of us at Dôme

This is a very sad day for us all in the Dome family. My name is Nigel and I’ve been the CEO and co-owner of the Dome Café Group for nearly 20 years. I can remember the time when our team numbers were counted in the tens and not the thousands that we have today. In that whole time whilst we’ve been expanding with new cafes and hiring more and more amazing people, we’ve been careful to keep things small, humble and hands on.…carefully growing our beautiful cafes across the land. Never could we have imagined a situation such as that occurring over the next few days where all your favourite Dome Cafes will be going into a most unexpected period of hibernation. Each and every Dome Café is a place of welcome and comfort, where people from all walks of life come to connect and interact. Unfortunately, at this most unusual of times, we are unable to be that much cherished place for you all. Wherever you may be from Esperance to Port Hedland, and everywhere in between, thank-you for making us part of your lives. To our amazing, beautiful owners, managers and team members who fill our cafes with sunshine and smiles each day, we can’t wait to reunite with you on the other side and admire once again what you do so well. Until then and with all our love, Nigel.
