Rainy long weekend - good wine - supporting local.
Free tastings on tonight at The Neighbourhood Bottles with these three absolute beauties:
Cock’s Foot Madrigal Muscat d’Alexandrie — bright, aromatic and seriously interesting. Fresh, textured and dangerously easy to drink.
Cloisonné Grenache Noir — silky, juicy and packed with vibrant red fruit. The kind of wine that disappears quickly with good company.
2023 Sheeran Nero d’Avola — rich, spicy and full of dark fruit with loads of personality. Perfect rainy-night red.
Swing past, join from .wine.gang_ have a taste, stay dry and support a small local business backing real people and great producers.

At our little local bottle shop, we know most people by name, half the dogs by name, and exactly what wine your partner likes before you even ask. We’re not stacked floor-to-ceiling with the same mass-produced stuff you’ll find everywhere else — we chase the small-batch wines, the local brewers having a crack, and the family-run distilleries putting everything on the line to make something bloody good.
Every bottle on the shelf has a story behind it. A farmer backing themselves. A winemaker sleeping through vintage in a shed. A brewer testing recipes after hours because they genuinely love what they do. That’s the stuff we get excited about.
And when you shop local with us, it doesn’t disappear into some giant corporation. It stays right here in the community — supporting local jobs, local families, local events, and real people having a go.
We’re not just a bottleshop. We’re the place you duck into for a quick recommendation, a chat about what’s good this weekend, or to discover something you never knew you’d love.
Good booze. Good people. Local legends supporting local legends.
Swing by the corner and we’ll see you at the Neighbourhood.

Put a bit of this into your weekend….

Tonight’s free wine tasting is looking seriously good.
We’ll be pouring:
• Forest Hill Block 9 Shiraz — a beautiful premium Great Southern shiraz with loads of depth, elegance and structure. A seriously impressive wine that’ll reward a few years in the cellar… if you can resist opening it early.
• Reulyn Wine Co. “Little Quinny Marmz” Skin-Contact Sauvignon Blanc — a wild little number full of texture and personality. Fresh, funky and one of those wines that keeps people talking long after the first sip.
Both are incredible local wines, amazing value for what’s in the bottle, and perfect Mother’s Day gifts for this Sunday.
Come down, have a taste, and support your local bottle shop — because when you shop local, you’re backing real people, local producers, and small businesses that genuinely care about the community they’re part of.
20% off French bubbles until Saturday evening also!
See you at the Neighbourhood!
