Cindy, originally from Penang, Malaysia, moved to Australia 31 years ago and has a background in managing restaurants and operating her own Oriental store. The inspiration to open this restaurant was fueled by encouragement from friends and family, allowing her long-held dream to come true. The culinary expertise is provided by Cindy's nephew, who boasts over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry spanning locations from Penang to Singapore and now Perth. The mission of Penang Hawker Food is centered on offering authentic and affordable Malaysian dishes for the local community.
