This week we have a classic German dish.
😊 Sauerbraten - Marinated for 21 days, combined with a delicious sauce with raisins and sugar beet syrup. Leave whole or cut in slices, simply warm it up and enjoy.

Good evening. I hope you enjoyed the glorious weather on the weekend.
This week we have more homestyle meals on offer.
Lentil stew, full with healthy vegetables. We have a vegan version and one with sausages.
For the adventurous at heart, we have Spanish Lentils. A hearty, savory dish made with red lentils and spanish chorizo.
We also have potato soup, either as a vegetarian option or with sausage (Knackwurst).
As always, we have fresh bread and sweet pastries and cakes.

It is a cold Friday morning to end this winter week.

This week’s specials
😊 Vegetable soup, gluten free and vegan. Made with Celery and Kohlrabi.
😊 Savoury pancake rolls. Add these to the above soup and you have a “Flädlesuppe”.
😊 Gyros with Tzatziki sauce. This seasoned meat only needs to be fried for a few minutes and it is ready to serve. Add to this some Turkish bread and a salad and the meal is ready.
😊 for lovers of south German food, we have Leberknödel. These can be added to a soup or served with potato purée, cabbage and gravy.

I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend and are ready for a few cold and rainy days. To keep you all warm, this week's specials are:
Hearty chicken soup grandmother's style, with lots of chicken and veggies.
Chicken fricassee, tender chicken meat with a creamy caper sauce.
For those making soups, we have the right sausages for you. A sausage for the stew, for the lentil, cabbage or potato soup. We have sausages for all of them.
Our sausages are home made, gluten free and free of fillers and preservatives.

Good evening! The cold weather is now with us, so this week's specials are designed to warm the stomach and the soul.

This long weekend and then the lockdown really made me lose time, so much so that I didn’t post what our specials will be this week. The weekend is going to be a bit cooler so a lot of this week’s specials reflect this:
1- Vegetarian & Vegan pea soup.
2- Goulash soup with hearty beef and vegetables. This soup is gluten free.
3- Herb Semmelknödel, (German bread dumplings), a variation to the usual Knödel, with lots of herbs and spices.
4- Homemade Sauerkraut with smoked Speck, juniper berries and laurel.
5- Beef Goulash (GF)
6- Currywurst with sauce.
