Coffee can be daunting—and let’s be honest, a little pretentious. Between complex flavour notes and scientific brew methods, it’s easy to feel like an outsider. Hear This and our coffee partners Pique, believe the best way to enjoy coffee is simply to be curious.
We’ve teamed up with our partners at Pique Coffee Roasters to host a session that strips away the jargon. If the world of specialty coffee has piqued your interest but left you with questions, this event is for you.
What We’ll Explore:
• The Pique Philosophy: Learn what it means “to be qurious” about sourcing and roasting high-quality beans.
• The Hear This House Blend: A deep dive into the flavor profile you know and love from our cafe.
• A “No-Snobs” Cupping: We’ll guide you through a professional tasting flight of different beans and brew methods in a relaxed, community setting.
• Brewing Demystified: From V60s to our favourite home-brew hacks, we’ll show you how we extract the best from Pique’s beans.

Thank you to this old boy who enthusiastically accompanied me to the cafe every day. Going to open up the shop will never be the same again.
Odin was a truely special soul. Gentle, kind, curious and just the right amount of pushy. He knew who his “people” were and gravitated to them eagerly. When I first brought him in I did so nervously, but he quickly adapted and I never imagined how quickly he would wiggle his way into our little community. He gave us all the start to the day we needed.
Odin, thanks for being with me through all the hard days and for sharing all the fun ones too. We know we won’t be able to fill the hole that you leave in our hearts, family and at Hear This.

One of our OGs is heading off to uni in another state (despite our best efforts to convince them that education is a scam and coffee is life). Turns out they already learned too much to fall for our tomfoolery. So now… we’re looking for a new human to join the crew.
At Hear This Coffee House, we stand for quality, community, and the growth of knowledge and wisdom.
We believe a carefully handcrafted coffee can genuinely change someone’s day.
We live in the moment, and we encourage everyone who walks through our doors to do the same.

We’re a locally owned coffee house in Morley, born from a love of good coffee and real connection. We ditched the corporate world to build something human. Our space is about presence, creativity, care—and giving people the space to be heard (the name Hear This came from our kids shouting it when they had something important to say).
We’re still young and growing, which means there are plenty of opportunities to shape what we do and how we do it. New ideas are always welcome. There’s room here to grow with us.
