Ateco 70 technique tips:

✨Tip angle: keep it low and close to the surface, small shifts here change the whole ruffle shape 💅

✨ Keep the tip touching or just barely off the surface the whole time, don’t lift it

✨ Consistent pressure and consistent speed. Steady squeeze, let the buttercream fall out of your piping bag

✨ Work in shorter sections rather than trying to ruffle the whole tier in one pass (you can stop and pick up again)

✨ Buttercream temp matters here too !! Too soft and the ruffle collapses, too stiff and it won’t feed through smoothly xx
