Don't fret, we're back open!
Apologies for any inconvenience caused by our last-minute closure yesterday. The weather may have had other plans, but we're back in business today.
We'll be serving our Sunday roast and home-made mulled wine all day until sold out.
Today's roast is Chef Owen's slow-cooked beef, served with homemade Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, broccolini, honey roasted carrots and red wine jus.

- Jackadders will be closed this evening -
Hi everyone,
We've made the decision to close early tonight due to the extreme weather.
Unfortunately we've experienced some issues with kitchen lighting, along with damage to garden lighting and trees around the venue. The safety of our staff and customers is our top priority, and we feel the safest option is to close for the evening and batten down the hatches until conditions improve.
We also don't want our staff or guests having to travel in these conditions, particularly once it gets dark!
We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We've been able to contact most of tonight's bookings directly, but if you were planning on visiting this evening and haven't heard from us, please feel free to get in touch.

It’s definitely mulled wine season!
We’ve been warming up some home-made mulled wine with Jackadders Shiraz, Cointreau and all the usual winter spices.

Our winter menu arrived this week ❄️
A mix of new dishes, a few returning favourites and plenty of things made for cooler nights by the lake
New additions including pork belly adobo, chicken maryland, roasted pumpkin salad and a rotating seasonal soup, alongside the return of the asian noodle pork belly salad!
Super excited for everyone to try some of Owen’s latest creations!

Our winter menu has arrived and starts today! Chef Owen has created some wonderful winter warmers and as promised, pizzas have returned! My personal favourite is the amazing slow cooked beef cheek gnocchi paired with a red or two ;-) Also to note is our weekly winter soup special. You'll also find all of your favourites still available so come sit in the warm, look out over the beautiful Jackadder Lake with your friends and enjoy! - Michelle ###

Planning our next menu has involved a lot of tasting, a lot of discussion and a few very strong opinions from the team!
Owen’s been working on a seasonal menu refresh behind the scenes. Plenty of favourites are staying, a few dishes are getting tweaked and there’ll be some new additions coming onto the menu soon.
And for everyone that’s been asking, pizzas will be making a return 😉

A quick update for anyone still making Mother’s Day plans - our online dinner bookings were accidentally switched off earlier, so if you checked availability before, please have another look as bookings are now back open.
Lunch is nearly fully booked, however we still have some availability for dinner tomorrow evening.
We’ll have our Sunday roast on, Mumm Champagne specials available and our full menu running as normal.
A slightly quieter way to celebrate if you’d rather avoid the lunchtime rush.

New beer on tap: Feral Hop Hog.
Brewed in WA by Feral, originally cooked up as one of their early “experiments”.
American pale ale style, hoppy with a citrus note and a slightly bitter finish.

We’ve had more people asking about gluten free options lately, so we’ve pulled together a clearer list.
We’ve also added a dedicated gluten free fryer to the kitchen, which means things like fries and fried dishes are now a safer option.
If you’re gluten free, or dining with someone who is, this should make things a bit easier!
As always, just let our staff know when ordering and we’ll guide you through it.

Mother’s Day is only a few weeks away!
A little shout out to the mums and mother figures out there, however you choose to spend it, it’s a nice excuse to get together and catch up with loved ones.
We’ll be running our usual menu, along with our $30 Sunday roast, we’ve also partnered with Mumm for the day, with bottles of their signature brut available for $80 if you feel like mum is worth it.

Starting to feel like that time of year again!
This weekend we're bringing our Sunday roasts back.
Something a bit slower, warm plates and a good excuse to settle in for a long lunch.
We’re kicking things off with slow cooked beef served with homemade Yorkshire pudding, patatas bravas, broccolini, honey roasted carrots and red wine jus (with option to add baked cauliflower cheese).
