Happy Birthday to Us!!

On the 14th May 2018 a new little community cafe opened her doors. What grew is the most wonderful, lovely and caring place a girl could hope for.

Thank you to everyone that has made, and continues to make, this happen. I have customers I have been serving for 20+ years. What a privilege.

May as well come and eat cake with me to celebrate ☺️

Kitchen Position Open!

Queen of Leeds in Leederville has an exciting opportunity open for a part time casual role in the kitchen.

We are a small cafe with a big reputation and a strong, loyal following. We produce everything in house and offer our customers excellent service, outstanding quality coffee and delicious, simple food.

This role would be perfect for someone who is creative and likes a challenge (the kitchen is small 😉). You really must love food, feeding people and serving people.

About the job:
*Autonomous role
*Tasks include daily baking, sandwich making, breakfast to order (small, well prepped menu).
*There will be an expectation of helping front of house when required (with till, running and clearing)
*Pay will be award based to begin with (according to training, qualification and experience)
*There are 4 shifts available - 5am - 1pm weekends and weekdays

Formal training is not necessary but a love of food is a must, and an ability to bake and to have enough self-confidence to multi task alone in a small kitchen is required. Experience will be favoured. A solid level of English is necessary to be able to help on the till when needed. No short term applications please.
