One month ago, we took over Louis Boeglin with big dreams, nervous hearts, and a deep respect for everything Chef Louis Boeglin built over the years.
Today, we simply want to say… thank you.
Thank you to Chef Louis Boeglin for not only trusting us with his business, but for standing beside us during this transition. For the long hours in the kitchen, for patiently training us, and for helping Daniel continue the production with the same dedication and love that this place has always been known for.
What many people may not realise is that Chef Louis is still here, still helping us behind the scenes, still making sure the heart of Louis Boeglin stays alive.
Over the past 4 weeks, we have met so many beautiful new faces. We have shared conversations, smiles, coffees, cakes, and stories with people who decided to give us a chance — and we will never take that for granted.
At the same time, we also understand that change can be emotional. Some people have chosen not to return because the ownership changed, and we respect that too.
But we hope people know this:A new face behind the counter does not mean the love, passion, and care for the products disappeared.
Sometimes when people see change, they believe the taste must have changed too.But the recipes, the dedication, the craftsmanship, and the hands guiding us are still here.
This business is no longer just a business to us.It is our livelihood, our future, our family’s dream, and something we are pouring our whole hearts into every single day.
To our community who stayed, supported us, encouraged us, and chose kindness during this transition — thank you from the deepest part of our hearts. You are helping a small family continue a legacy.
And to the staff who decided to stay and walk this journey with us through uncertainty and change — thank you for believing in us even when we were still learning to believe in ourselves.
We still have so much to learn. We will make mistakes. We will grow. But one thing we can promise is that we truly care.
Thank you for the first month. Here’s to slowly building trust, one coffee, one cake, and one customer at a time 🤍
