Hi Everyone, it’s Angela from Mecca Gourmet, even though our restaurants are now closed I’d like to use this platform to share this devestating news, in the hope that we can raise funds to help support Kah’s 3 children. Kah was murdered last week in her home by her husband.
Please donate whatever you can to support these three beautiful children who have tragically lost their mum. Her son is my son’s best friend at school, which makes this tragedy feel incredibly close to home. No child should ever have to experience a loss like this. Their lives have changed forever, and any contribution, no matter how small, will help support them as they face an unimaginable future without their mum. ❤️End of an Era ❤️
To our beautiful Mecca Gourmet Aveley family,
After 12 incredible years, the time has come for us to say goodbye.
Mecca Gourmet Aveley has been so much more than just your local family restaurant. It has been a place where friendships were made, families gathered, celebrations were shared, countless memories were made and we watched each other’s kids grow up! It has truly been a privilege to serve our wonderful community for so long.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every customer, every staff member, every supplier and every person who supported us over the years. Your loyalty, kindness, encouragement and support have meant more to us than words can ever express.
As many of you have noticed, there is now a new chapter beginning at the premises. We sincerely wish the new local family owners every success and hope our amazing community continues to support them as warmly as you always supported us.
To everyone who walked through our doors over the past 12 years—thank you for being part of our journey. We will always treasure the friendships, memories and laughter that Mecca Gourmet Aveley brought into our lives.
Although this chapter has come to an end, we will always be grateful for the incredible community that made it all possible!
