There is a new menu at Chapters. Chef Michael has been working on it for some time, and it is worth coming in for. The approach has not changed. Proper technique, good produce, nothing on the plate that does not need to be there. A few things you would have missed have stayed. Plenty is new.

A look at the week at Chapters.
Wednesday is Steak Night, 250g Black Angus sirloin, all day.
Thursday is Welly & Wine, our signature Beef Wellington with a house glass, $49 from 5pm.
Lunch runs Wednesday through Saturday, two courses $49 or three for $59, midday to 4pm.
Sunday we do the roast properly, duck fat potatoes and all. And the cocktail and spirit boards sit across every opening hour, whenever the table calls for one.

The kitchen is on, the wine is poured, and the week is officially somebody else's problem.
Start with a martini or a bottle of red. Order the chicken liver parfait for the table. Take the 250g sirloin, or the beef short rib if it's that kind of night. Nobody is rushing you out.

Lunch at Chapters, Wednesday through Saturday, 11:30am to 4pm.
Two courses $49. Three courses $59. Both include a house wine, a middy of beer or a soft drink.
Start with the chicken liver parfait, pickles and toasted sourdough. Then the Chapters steak sandwich, 180g sirloin with caramelised onion and chimichurri on toasted ciabatta. Finish with sticky toffee pudding if the afternoon allows.
