Jo Perry is a stalwart of Margaret River. “Dormilona,” meaning “Lazy Bones,” was a nickname earned during her time in Spain, and is a jocular reflection of her minimal, thoughtful approach to w**emaking—striking a balance between vinicultural finesse and the hand of nature. Working with traditional Georgian amphora, her Clayface Cabernet showcases Cabernet Sauvignon stripped of w**emaking artifice: a pure expression of one of the state’s most beloved grapes.
