Caffe Latte is seeking a casual assistant chef for our busy little café in Nedlands.
The duties of the role are:
Assist our chefs with breakfast and lunch service
Prepare ingredients for our daily fresh salads, baked goods, and takeaway meals
Arrange food in our displays with beautiful presentation
Help prepare hors d’oeuvre, salads, cakes and slices for our catering clients
General kitchen duties – cleaning, washing, stock control etc.
Assist front of house staff when required.
You should:
Have a fine eye for detail and food presentation
Be confident in a kitchen
Keep things clean and hygienic– we are clean freaks!
Be passionate about food and happy to learn new things from our experienced chefs
Be able to reliably get to work on time.
We are open from 6:30am until 2pm weekdays and 7am until 1pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sundays. Shifts will generally be a 6 – 6:30am start with a 1 – 3pm finish. We can be flexible on hours and days for the right candidate.

Caffe Latte is seeking a casual barista for our busy little café in Nedlands.
The duties of the role are:
-Consistently extract excellent shots of espresso with our Victoria Arduino 3 group coffee machine
-Steam and pour silky smooth milk and serve our customers the perfect coffee every time
-Prepare teas and other drinks such as smoothies
-Serve our awesome customers with a smile and friendly chat. We take a genuine interest in our customers and know most of them by name. In time, we hope you get to know them too
-Take customer orders and serve salads, cakes and slices
-Deliver food to the kitchen for preparation by our chef as required
-Serve food and drinks to our dine-in customers
-General front of house duties including clearing and cleaning tables, arranging displays, stock control and daily cleaning tasks
-Assist kitchen staff if required.
You should:
-Be confident, outgoing and provide sparkling service to our customers while performing the duties above
-Have a fine eye for detail and presentation
-Work quickly and effectively when the pressure is on
-Keep things super clean and hygienic – we are clean freaks!
-Have excellent conversational English skills
-Be able to reliably get to work on time.
