Yesterday, our Quest East Perth team took time to come together for an information session focused on mental health awareness and how we can better support the people around us—both within our workplace and beyond it.
Not every struggle is visible, and we don’t need to be experts or have all the right words. What matters is asking genuinely, making space for an honest answer, listening without judgement and continuing to check in.
A conversation may feel like a small gesture, but to someone who is struggling, it can mean more than we realise.
R U OK?Day is an important reminder, but these conversations matter every day. If someone is on your mind, trust your instinct and reach out.

To reach the hotel located at Adelaide Terrace in Perth, you can use public transport or drive and park. For public transport, take the train to Perth station and then transfer to bus number 40 or 41 heading towards East Perth. Get off at the stop closest to Adelaide Terrace and walk to the hotel.
If you are driving, take the Great Eastern Highway towards Perth CBD, then turn left onto Victoria Avenue and left again onto Adelaide Terrace. There is limited street parking available around the hotel or alternatively, there is a paid car park nearby on Plain Street.
