✨ Seventeen years, six stores, thousands of cups of coffee… and countless memories I’ll treasure forever.
Seventeen years, ninety-five days, six stores, 389 incredible team members, 1363 payrolls, and 2726 rosters later… it’s finally time for me to say goodbye to a chapter that has shaped so much of my life.
My journey with Gloria Jean’s Coffees began on 6th June 2008 when I opened my very first store in Bassendean. Back then, I never could have imagined where the road would lead. Over the years, I was blessed to own stores in Bassendean (2008 - 2023), Myer Morley (2010 - 2020), Hillarys Marina (2013 - 2018), Mirrabooka (2014 - 2025), Ellenbrook (2019 – 2022) and Ascot Drive Thru (2018 - 2025). Each store wasn’t just a business — it became a little community of its own, filled with faces and stories that I’ll never forget.
What truly made this journey so special wasn’t just the coffee, but the people. To my 389 amazing staff members over the years who wore the uniform with pride, brought smiles to customers’ faces, and became like family — thank you. You were the heart of each store. And to the countless customers who came in for their daily coffee, shared a conversation, celebrated milestones, or simply became familiar faces — you were the reason I kept going all these years.
On 9th September 2025, I’ll be selling my last store, Ascot Drive Thru. The new owners will take the business on with passion and commitment but most Importantly my amazing Staff will still be there to make your coffee and make your day.
It’s bittersweet to let go, but I do so with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and pride in what we’ve built together.
Seventeen years in business means so much more than the numbers. It’s friendships, memories, challenges, triumphs, laughter, and even the tough days that taught me resilience. I am deeply grateful for every single moment.
As I close this chapter, I look back with a full heart and forward with excitement for what’s to come. To everyone who has been part of my journey — thank you. You’ve shaped not just my career, but my life. ❤️☕
