Hi everyone
Just a heads up — we’ll be closed tomorrow, Sunday, 28 June. One of our kitchen team is unwell, and rather than cut corners, we’ve decided to give all staff the day off.
It’s only for the day but we’ll be back and ready to welcome you again from Monday, with the same food and the same warm Malaysian hospitality you know us for.
Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support, it means the world to us. See you very soon!

What people say
The Sarapan, located on Mill Point Road in Perth, is a popular breakfast and brunch spot that also serves halal and Malaysian cuisine. According to recent online reviews, the restaurant has received mixed feedback from customers.
A review from a local newspaper praised The Sarapan's breakfast options, stating that the dishes were "flavorful and well-presented." However, a more recent magazine review criticized the restaurant's service, claiming that staff members were slow to take orders and bring out food.
Online reviews of The Sarapan are also varied. Some customers have raved about the restaurant's unique Malaysian dishes, such as nasi lemak and roti canai. Others have complained about long wait times for food or poor customer service.
One customer wrote on Yelp that they had a "fantastic experience" at The Sarapan and particularly enjoyed the chicken curry laksa. Another reviewer on Google said they were disappointed with their visit due to "slow service" and "mediocre food."
Despite some negative feedback, many customers seem to enjoy The Sarapan's halal options. A recent TripAdvisor review praised the restaurant for its "delicious halal breakfast," while another customer on Zomato called it their "go-to halal brunch spot."
Overall, it seems that The Sarapan has both fans and detractors among its customers. While some appreciate the unique Malaysian flavors and halal options, others have experienced issues with slow service or mediocre food quality. As with any restaurant, individual experiences may vary depending on factors such as time of day or server availability.
